
Orlando Police Officer Faces Charges for Reckless Driving and Fleeing Traffic Stop.
A Florida sheriff's deputy stopped an Orlando police officer for allegedly speeding in a marked police SUV. The officer, Alexander Shaouni, refused to provide his driver's license and drove off with the cruiser's flashing lights on. Shaouni was later arrested and charged with misdemeanor crimes including speeding, reckless driving, resisting an officer, and felony fleeing from law enforcement. The Orlando Police Department has relieved Shaouni of duty pending investigations.
