Oakland A's Fire Broadcaster for Using Racial Slur on Air
Bob Kendrick, the president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, expressed disappointment over the firing of Oakland A's broadcaster Glen Kuiper for using a racial epithet on air. Kendrick had forgiven Kuiper for the mistake and received backlash for doing so. He hopes Kuiper will have an opportunity to extend his career and believes forgiveness is important.
