Two Teen Girls Identified in Fatal Illinois Jet Ski Crash
Two teenage girls, Elle Kim and Sarina Vootkur, died after their jet ski collided with a boat at high speed on Lake Marie in Antioch, Illinois. The 16-year-old was driving the jet ski when it crashed into a Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser, knocking both girls unconscious and into the water. Despite immediate rescue efforts, both girls succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital. An investigation by the Lake County Sheriff's Office and Illinois Conservation Police is ongoing.
