Glenn "Shemy" Schembechler, son of former Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler, has resigned from his position as assistant director of recruiting for the Wolverines after offensive social media content was revealed. The posts and likes on his Twitter feed included material that suggested slavery and Jim Crow were positives for Black individuals and families. Michigan Athletics released a statement acknowledging the concern and pain caused by the social media activity and reaffirming their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
