Blue Starlite Drive-In to Close Mueller Location, Announces New Venue in NE Austin
The Blue Starlite Urban Drive-In is closing its Mueller location on July 5 but will open a new spot in a few months, which is three times the size of the current location and will offer more screens, space for cars, and amenities. The owner, Josh Frank, said they've operated from five different spaces since opening in 2009 and will continue to accept private bookings throughout the summer. The downtown location will remain open up to six nights a week, and the new location's official announcement will be made next month.
