Florida State Football Recruiting: Elite DB Jamari Howard Commits, Boosting Defensive Back Class
Florida State University's football team, led by coach Mike Norvell, has secured a commitment from blue-chip cornerback prospect Jamari Howard. The 6'2" defensive back from Norland High School in South Florida is ranked 123rd nationally and had previously been committed to Michigan State. Howard chose FSU over offers from top programs such as Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. With this addition, FSU has assembled an impressive defensive back class for Tribe24, including KJ Bolden, Charles Lester III, Ricky Knight III, and CJ Heard. Howard is expected to contribute as a pure cornerback and has the potential to become a multi-year starter and future NFL prospect.
