The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Darnell Washington, a 6-foot-7, 264-pound tight end from Georgia, with their third-round pick in the NFL Draft. Washington is known for his blocking skills and may even be considered for a tackle position. Despite being overshadowed in the receiving game, Washington was a five-star recruit and has the potential to be a weapon on the field. The Steelers' tight end room already includes blossoming star Pat Freiermuth and another large blocking specialist in Zach Gentry.
