Blackstone's Acquisition of Britishvolt Site Signals Shift to Data Center Development
Blackstone Inc. is set to acquire the former Britishvolt site in northern England to develop what could potentially become Europe's largest data center, in a deal managed on behalf of data center landlord QTS. The proposal for the purchase and an amendment to Northumberland County Council's right to buy it back will be voted on by councilors on April 23.
