Meghan Markle to be Honored with Women's Empowerment Award.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and LaTosha Brown, co-founder of Black Voters Matter, will receive the Ms. Foundation's Women of Vision Award in May for their tireless work on behalf of gender and racial equity. The foundation will also honor four other women for their contributions to social change. Meghan will be recognized for her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls, while Brown will be recognized for her activism and work to bring about social change through Black Voters Matter.
