Ryan Coogler revealed that his original script for 'Black Panther 2' focused on T'Challa and his 8-year-old son, with a storyline involving the Ritual of 8 and the villain Namor, but the project was reworked after Chadwick Boseman's death. Coogler also shared his initial interest in including Kraven the Hunter, which was blocked due to rights issues, and is now working on a third Black Panther film.
Tenoch Huerta, who played Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has been accused of sexual assault by saxophonist Maria Elena Rios. Rios claimed that Huerta is a "violent and sexual predator" and that the organisation Poder Prieto, of which Huerta is a member, pursued her to "avoid scandals over their Marvel film". Huerta has not yet responded to the allegations.
