Tragic Accident: Mother Pushing Stroller Killed by Dump Truck in Miami
A mother pushing a stroller was fatally run over by a dump truck in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood, while the baby was hospitalized. The incident occurred when the woman, the baby, and another pedestrian crossed in front of stopped traffic outside of the crosswalk. The truck driver, unable to see the pedestrians, drove forward and rolled over the woman, although missing the stroller. The driver is not expected to face charges, as surveillance video supported his account of the crash.
