Bill Laimbeer and Vince Carter among 2024 Hall of Fame nominees
Former Detroit Pistons center Bill Laimbeer has been nominated for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player for the first time. Laimbeer, known for his tough playing style and role in the "Bad Boys" Pistons teams, was a four-time All-Star and played a crucial role in the Pistons' two NBA championships. He is the Pistons' all-time leading rebounder and is joined by other nominees such as Cheryl Ford, John Beilein, Chauncey Billups, and Greg Kelser. Finalists will be announced in February, and the Class of 2024 will be unveiled in April.
