Temple Mourns Loss of Bill Courtney, Devoted Owls Assistant Coach
Temple University confirmed the sudden passing of men’s basketball assistant coach Bill Courtney, a 30-year coaching veteran who joined the Owls in 2025 after stints at Miami and multiple other programs. The news drew tributes from head coach Adam Fisher and athletics director Arthur Johnson, who highlighted Courtney’s impact, preparation, and commitment.
