Falcons set to hire Tommy Rees as next offensive architect
The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly hiring Tommy Rees, the Browns’ former offensive coordinator and ex Notre Dame OC, to be their new OC under head coach Kevin Stefanski. Rees would reunite with Stefanski after two seasons in Cleveland, including a 2025 OC stint that followed Stefanski assuming play-calling duties and a season that contributed to Stefanski’s firing after a 5-12 record. Atlanta hopes to leverage a star-powered roster with Bijan Robinson and Drake London while developing quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who is returning from knee surgery.
