Hawaii Men's Volleyball Wins Third Consecutive Big West Championship.
Hawaii defeated UC Irvine in four sets to win the Big West Men's Volleyball Championship and secure a spot in the NCAA tournament, where they will attempt to win their third consecutive national championship. Dimitrios Mouchlias led Hawaii with 17 kills, while Chaz Galloway added 13 kills and Cole Hogland was in on eight of Hawaii's 17 blocks. Hawaii setter Jakob Thelle was named tournament MVP. UC Irvine will hope to receive one of the two at-large berths into the seven-team field.
