Attorneys for Bryan Kohberger, who is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the stabbing attack that left four University of Idaho students dead, are asking one of the surviving roommates, Bethany Funke, to testify in his upcoming preliminary hearing. However, Funke is resisting the subpoena, and her attorney has filed a motion to quash it. Roommate's Testimony in Bryan Kohberger Trial Contested.

Bethany Funke, one of the two housemates who survived the University of Idaho murders, is fighting a subpoena that would force her to testify as part of murder suspect Bryan Kohberger’s defense. Kohberger’s attorneys argue that Funke’s testimony is key to the trial and could clear the murder charges levied against their client. However, Funke has denied that she has any information that could clear Kohberger.
