"Natalee Holloway's Mother Finds Closure in Joran van der Sloot's Confession"
Beth Holloway, the mother of Natalee Holloway, who went missing in Aruba in 2005, spoke about Joran van der Sloot's recent confession to killing her daughter after she rejected his advances. Van der Sloot admitted to the crime in a statement filed in federal court in Alabama, where he pleaded guilty to extortion and wire fraud charges. Despite an extensive search, Natalee Holloway's remains have never been found. Beth Holloway expressed relief that her "never-ending nightmare" is over and stated that van der Sloot's power over her is gone. Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in Peru for another murder.
