Manhunt underway for Bertie County homicide suspect.
The Bertie County Sheriff's Office is searching for Mckenzie Watford of Colerain, who is wanted for first-degree murder and larceny of a dog. Watford is considered to be armed and dangerous. He is a suspect in the murder of his father, Tony K. Watford, who was found dead in his residence at 525 Hwy 42. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Watford should contact the Bertie County Sheriff's Office.
