Manhunt Ends: Suspect in Fatal Shooting of NM State Police Officer Captured
Jaremy Smith, accused of killing New Mexico State Police officer Justin Hare, was apprehended by Bernalillo County Sheriff's deputies after a shooting incident. Smith, also a person of interest in the death of a South Carolina paramedic, was taken into custody and is being treated for his injuries. The investigation into Officer Hare's death continues, and Smith will face charges in connection to it.
