Beware of Taylor Swift ticket scams targeting fans.
Four teenagers from Berkley were scammed out of $1,200 after buying fake tickets to Taylor Swift's concert at Ford Field in Detroit from a seller on Craigslist. The mother of one of the girls purchased the tickets and thought she was preventing a scam by receiving the first ticket before sending payment. However, when they arrived at the box office, they were told the tickets were fake. The girls were left disappointed and out of pocket for the money. The mother has filed a police report and made a claim with Venmo and her bank.
