
Omaha Westside Dominates Class A State Football Championships for Second Consecutive Title
Sandhills/Thedford's junior quarterback, Kyle Cox, set an all-class, all-time record by running the ball 65 times for 486 yards and six touchdowns in their 50-12 championship game win over Wynot. Bennington Badgers secured their third consecutive state title with a 21-0 victory over Skutt Catholic, extending their winning streak to 39 games. Stanton defeated EMF 46-32 in the D-1 championship game. Three more state title games are scheduled for Tuesday.
