Wake Forest advances to College World Series semifinals with win over LSU.

No. 1 seed Wake Forest beat LSU 3-2 in a come-from-behind win to move on to the Men's College World Series finals. Wake Forest is now 7-0 in the NCAA tournament and the fifth No. 1 seed to win its first two games in the MCWS. Catcher Bennett Lee made a spectacular defensive play in the eighth inning before delivering the hit that put Wake Forest ahead. The Demon Deacons would have to lose twice to be denied a spot in the finals.
