Ben Davis High School's basketball team in Indiana finished their season with a perfect 33-0 record, becoming the 14th team in the state's history to finish undefeated. The team played together and unselfishly, with an in-your-face press and sharing the ball. They won the Class 4A state basketball finals against Kokomo with a 53-41 victory. Ben Davis big man Zane Doughty scored a game-high 20 points, while Mark Zackery added 16 points. The team's senior point guard, Sheridan Sharp, was emotional after the game, saying, "It's a dream come true."
