Belmont’s Curse lands preorders as Castlevania returns in 2026
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse was unveiled during PlayStation State of Play and is now available for preorder at $40 for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X, with a 2026 release window. Set 23 years after Dracula's Curse, the game follows Trevor Belmont’s successor in 1499 Paris, emphasizing the Vampire-Killer whip, exploration of secret areas, and classic action-platforming rather than roguelite mechanics. Developed by Motion Twin (Dead Cells) and Evil Empire, the title marks Konami’s renewed Castlevania push, with additional teases like Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 and Silent Hill: Townfall in the pipeline.
