Fatal Motorcycle Crashes Plague Florida Roads
A 19-year-old motorcyclist died after being hit by an SUV driven by a 76-year-old woman on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, Florida. The SUV attempted to turn left onto Shade Avenue and crossed into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and hit a crosswalk pole. The SUV spun and collided with a third car. The motorcyclist died at the hospital, and the SUV driver suffered minor injuries. The crash is under investigation.
