
Bee swarm injures two and forces road closures in Encino.
Two people were injured after a large bee swarm was reported in Encino, Los Angeles. Residents were warned to stay indoors and close all windows and doors. A man was brought to a local hospital with multiple bee stings, while a Los Angeles Police Department volunteer officer was also being transported to a local hospital after falling face down onto the asphalt while trying to swat away bees from his face. A professional bee-removal contractor was called to the scene to remove a hive under the roof of a home in the area.
