
Beckett DeJean arrested for OWI ahead of Eagles' playoff game
Beckett DeJean, 20, was arrested by the Ida County Sheriff's Office in Iowa for first-offense operating while intoxicated hours before the Philadelphia Eagles' NFC wild-card loss to the 49ers. He was booked shortly after 1 a.m. local time and released by 10:45 a.m. The misdemeanor carries penalties such as jail time, fines and license revocation; Beckett previously appeared on the South Dakota Coyotes roster (2023-2024) with no stats. Cooper DeJean played in the game with two tackles and two passes defended as the Eagles’ season ended with a 23-19 loss.
