Netflix Wins U.S. Rights to Jack Thorne’s Lord of the Flies TV Adaptation
Netflix has acquired the U.S. rights to Jack Thorne’s four-part Lord of the Flies TV adaptation, produced for the BBC and Stan by Eleven Film and One Shoe Films; the first TV take on Golding’s novel, directed by Marc Munden with music by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (with Hans Zimmer collaborators), premiered on BBC/Stan and is being aggressively sold to other territories ahead of Berlinale screenings.
