Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Expands to Embrace the Original Trilogy
Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will broaden its Batuu timeline to include the Original Trilogy era, starting April 29, 2026, enabling encounters with Darth Vader, Leia, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, and adding John Williams’ music to the land. The Black Spire Outpost area will receive new props and displays, while the neighboring section near Rise of the Resistance remains in the First Order/sequel era. Changes reportedly won’t be coming to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios version of Galaxy’s Edge at this time, and the shift aligns with broader Star Wars milestones and fan expectations.
