Honda recalls over 100,000 hybrid vehicles due to fire risk
Honda is recalling approximately 106,000 CR-V hybrid SUVs in the US due to a battery cable issue that could lead to a fire in the event of an accident. The recall affects CR-V SUVs from 2020 to 2022, and Honda will replace the battery cable free of charge. Owners who have already paid for repairs may be eligible for reimbursement. Honda expects to notify affected owners by mail on January 29, 2024. This comes after previous recalls by Honda for engine stalling and seat belt malfunctions.
