LSU and Florida battle for College World Series championship in Game 3.
The availability of LSU pitcher Paul Skenes for Game 3 of the 2023 Men's College World Series against the Florida Gators is uncertain. Skenes has thrown more than 240 pitches in the College World Series and is less than two weeks away from being selected early in the 2023 Major League Baseball Draft. While Skenes has been noncommittal about his availability, LSU coach Jay Johnson has stated that they will have to evaluate his condition on the day of the game. Skenes' appearance could be the difference maker for the Tigers in securing a national title.
