Shohei Ohtani Seeks Return of $325K in Baseball Cards from Ex-Interpreter
Shohei Ohtani has requested a court hearing to reclaim $325,000 worth of baseball cards purchased by his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, who pled guilty to stealing nearly $17 million from Ohtani. Mizuhara, who altered Ohtani's bank security to buy the cards, faces sentencing in January for bank fraud and tax evasion. The hearing is set for December 20, while Mizuhara could face up to 33 years in prison.
