
Actor Michael Lerner Passes Away at 81
Michael Lerner, a prolific character actor with over 180 film and television credits, has died at the age of 81. He was best known for his Oscar-nominated performance as a movie mogul in the Coen brothers' "Barton Fink." Lerner played a variety of roles, including mobsters, politicians, and real-life figures such as Jack Ruby and Jack Warner. He also appeared in holiday favorite "Elf" and the 1998 remake of "Godzilla." Lerner's nephew and niece are also actors.
