Mortal Kombat 2 producer Todd Garner has confirmed that Baraka will appear in the upcoming sequel to 2021’s Mortal Kombat. Baraka is a fan-favorite fighter who first appeared in Mortal Kombat II. The Tarkatan villain is known for his retractable blades that extend from his forearms. Mortal Kombat 2 will also feature other franchise staples such as Shao Kahn, Johnny Cage, Jade, Kitana, Sindel, and Quan Chi. The film is directed by Simon McQuoid and does not yet have a release date.
