She was booked on charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery, and trespassing. Alaia claims she was defending herself and that the situation was blown out of proportion.
Andrey Medvedev, a former commander in Russia's Wagner mercenary group who defected to Norway in January, has pleaded guilty to being involved in a fight outside an Oslo bar and carrying an air gun in public. Medvedev denied assaulting police officers in the Norwegian capital. The Wagner group has been used in many Russian operations in the Ukraine war. Medvedev claims to have witnessed a host of war crimes while fighting in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region and is willing to testify against senior figures in the mercenary group.
A new video shows MMA fighter Nate Diaz instigating a bar brawl with reality TV personality Chase DeMoor in New Orleans. Diaz was ejected from an event earlier for throwing a water bottle at DeMoor. Later that night, Diaz and DeMoor ended up at the same bar where a brawl erupted. Diaz was seen kneeing and choking Logan Paul lookalike Rodney Peterson, who was later knocked unconscious. Peterson has not yet decided whether to press charges against Diaz. Diaz is set to fight Jake Paul in August.
Amateur MMA fighter Ross Johnson has been charged with manslaughter for allegedly killing U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Dayvon Larry with a single blow to the head in a brawl at Coyote Ugly Saloon in Florida. Johnson was arrested and released on a $250,000 bond. The altercation began after Johnson's friend got into an argument with another man at the bar and escalated to the parking lot. Johnson allegedly turned his ire on Larry, who died of blunt force trauma to the head.
