Multiple Officers Shot Outside Jacksonville Hospital, Suspect Dead.
An officer is in critical condition after being shot outside Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. The shooter, who had only a speeding ticket on his record, is dead. The incident began when an off-duty officer noticed a vehicle driving through the hospital parking lot suspiciously. Other officers responded and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the man inside the car fired a shot into a police car. The shooter then crashed into a police car, hit another police car head-on, and then crashed into a pole. Before this incident, the shooter had only a speeding ticket on his record.
