Alex Jones Offers Sandy Hook Families $55 Million to Settle Defamation Lawsuits
Alex Jones has proposed a settlement plan to pay the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre at least $55 million over 10 years, following his loss in massive defamation suits. The plan, which still requires court approval, includes annual payments of $5.5 million, as well as additional income from InfoWars' parent company and Jones himself. The families had previously proposed that Jones pay at least $85 million over 10 years or liquidate his estate. Jones estimated his assets to be worth between $1 million and $10 million in his bankruptcy filing.
