
Marilyn Mosby Convicted of Mortgage Fraud in Split Verdict
Former Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has been found guilty of one count of mortgage fraud after testifying that she unintentionally made false statements on loan applications to buy two Florida vacation homes. She was acquitted on a second mortgage fraud charge but had previously been convicted of two counts of perjury for falsely claiming financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mosby faces a maximum prison sentence of 30 years for the single count of mortgage fraud.
