Israeli army fatally shoots Palestinian in West Bank operation.
Israeli forces killed a 19-year-old Palestinian and wounded eight others during a raid on Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The raid was conducted to capture a wanted fighter, but he was not found. The family's house was partly destroyed, and a car parked nearby was torched. Hamas mourned the death of the 19-year-old but did not claim him as a member. Separately, four Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded in a drive-by shooting near Jenin, and there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
