Two Canby Schools Shut Down After Kittyhawk Blast
After an explosion at Kittyhawk Manufacturing in Canby, Oregon, Trost Elementary and Baker Prairie Middle School were closed as a precaution due to safety concerns near the site, with a Level 3 evacuation order in place. One person was injured; other Canby schools remain open. The evacuation order remains until Canby Fire Department can assess a second tank inside the building.
