Prue Leith Steps Down as Bake Off Judge at 86
Long-serving Bake Off judge Prue Leith is leaving the series after nine seasons and more than 400 challenges. She announced on Instagram that at 86 she’s stepping back to pursue other things and will miss working with co-judges Paul Hollywood, Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, plus the production teams. Leith joined the show in 2017, replacing Mary Berry when the program moved from the BBC to Channel 4; her exit marks the first judging change in nine years. The series streams on Netflix in the U.S.
