Tragedy Strikes Mercer Soccer Community: Student-Athlete Dies from Cardiac Arrest.
Mercer University is mourning the loss of men's soccer student-athlete Baba Agbaje, who passed away on April 10. Agbaje was a valued member of the Mercer student-athlete community and was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. The entire Mercer family is in mourning, and counseling services are available for students.
