Some runners who finished the Boston Marathon after 5:15 p.m. did not receive their finisher medal at the end of the race as the medals ran out. The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) confirmed the issue and promised to provide medals to those affected as quickly as possible. The BAA congratulated all finishers of the race and will mail the medals to the affected runners in the coming days or weeks.
