
Sixers Secure Promising Talent with Filip Petrušev Signing
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed center/power forward Filip Petrušev to a standard NBA contract after stashing him overseas for the past two seasons. Petrušev, the 50th pick in the 2021 draft, is expected to have a chance to make the roster this season. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Additionally, the Sixers signed center Ąžuolas Tubelis to a two-way contract. Both players participated in the Sixers' summer league team, with Petrušev averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in two appearances. Tubelis, a former Arizona player, averaged 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in two summer league games.
