Ashley Cain, a former footballer and reality TV star, is taking on the world's toughest survival race, the Yukon 1000, to keep his daughter Azaylia's memory alive. Azaylia died at just eight months old after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. Ashley and his teammate will kayak down the Yukon River from Canada through the Arctic Circle to Alaska in the US, covering 120-125 miles each day. He is willing to risk his life to fundraise and increase awareness of childhood cancer, an area of research that is severely underfunded.
