The face of the Ram Lalla's idol was revealed ahead of the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, depicting Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing with a smiling face. Sculpted by Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, the 51-inch idol is carved out of black stone and placed on a throne in the sanctum sanctorum. The consecration ceremony is scheduled for January 22, with rituals and recitations being conducted by a team of acharyas and gurus.
