Amazon Web Services (AWS) suffered an outage that lasted for roughly two hours, affecting multiple services and causing issues for thousands of customers. The issue was related to a subsystem of AWS Lambda, which caused errors for customers. AWS announced that many services are now fully recovered, but there are still delays in the execution of asynchronous invocations. The website Downdetector.com reported around 12,000 reports of outages related to the problem.
