Fatal Shootout Erupts at Stout's Auto Over Service Discrepancy
A disgruntled customer, identified as 78-year-old Eugene Frank Becker, is suspected of shooting and killing the owner of Stout's Automotive, Jodie Stout, in a shootout at the auto shop. Police believe the shooting was motivated by a service discrepancy from 2021, where Becker felt he had been overcharged. Becker's family stated that he had been depressed and frustrated since a recent vehicle crash. Both Becker and Stout died in the incident.
