Austin Proehl, son of former Panthers wideout and wide receivers coach Ricky Proehl, impressed during the rookie minicamp and is grateful for the opportunity to showcase his skills. Despite the Panthers having plenty of weapons in the passing game, Proehl's ability to play special teams effectively might earn him another look during OTAs. He believes something special is happening in Carolina under Frank Reich and his staff.
