Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth Denounce IBLP: 'We Were Never Involved'
Joy-Anna Duggar and husband Austin Forsyth claim they were never part of the controversial religious organization, Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP), that the Duggar family follows. In a YouTube vlog, the couple stated that they distanced themselves from IBLP after getting married and emphasized that they follow Jesus alone. This comes after Joy-Anna's sister, Jill Duggar, released a memoir discussing their upbringing and involvement in IBLP, as well as the aftermath of their brother Josh Duggar's confession of molesting underage girls. Jill has received support from some family members, including Jinger Vuolo, while their parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have chosen not to comment publicly.
